Fall Into Community Fun- Grand Subaru’s October 2026 Events

October is shaping up to be a busy month at Grand Subaru! From helping local pets find loving homes to supporting families impacted by blood cancer and joining our Bensenville neighbors for some Halloween fun, our October calendar is packed with opportunities to connect with and give back to our community.

Here’s where you can find Grand Subaru throughout October.

🐾 Subaru Loves Pets Event — October 10 | 11 AM–2 PM

October is Subaru Loves Pets Month, and Grand Subaru is once again teaming up with A.R.F. – Animal Rescue Foundation for one of our favorite events of the year!

Join us at Grand Subaru on Saturday, October 10, from 11 AM to 2 PM for an afternoon dedicated to our four-legged friends and the people who love them.

A.R.F. will be joining us with adoptable pets looking for their forever homes, giving visitors the opportunity to meet some incredible animals and learn more about pet adoption and fostering.

We’re also bringing together local pet-focused businesses and professionals to create a community event for pet owners. Guests can meet and connect with local dog trainers, groomers, dog walkers and other pet establishments while learning about services and resources available for their pets.

Whether you're looking to adopt, want to discover new resources for your current pet, or simply want to spend an afternoon surrounded by fellow animal lovers, we invite you to stop by.

And, of course, bring your furry family members along for the fun!

🏮 Blood Cancer United Light The Night — October 17 | 5–8 PM

On Saturday, October 17, Grand Subaru is proud to sponsor the Blood Cancer United Western Suburban Light The Night event at Spring Rock Park in Western Springs.

Light The Night brings together survivors, patients, families, friends, businesses and community supporters to celebrate, honor and remember those whose lives have been touched by blood cancer.

The evening is about more than a walk. Participants come together to create a powerful display of hope and support while raising funds for Blood Cancer United. Funds raised through Light The Night help support blood cancer research, free information and support services for patients and families, and advocacy for access to quality care.

The 2026 Western Suburban event has set a $500,000 fundraising goal, bringing the community together to make a meaningful difference for people facing leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma and other blood cancers.

For Grand Subaru, supporting Light The Night also complements our continued involvement with the Subaru Loves to Care initiative and our commitment to supporting those affected by cancer throughout our community.
