Grand Subaru and A.R.F. celebrate another successful year of bringing the community together to give shelter dogs a second chance.

Fifteen dogs, fifteen new beginnings, and countless happy tails! Grand Subaru’s annual Subaru Loves Pets Adoption Party, held Saturday, October 10, 2026, was a heartwarming success as 15 deserving dogs found their forever homes through our continued partnership with A.R.F. (Animal Rescue Foundation).

What began as a celebration of our love for animals became something even more meaningful: a day filled with second chances, new families, and a community coming together to make a difference.

15 Adoptions. 15 Lives Changed.

The highlight of this year’s Subaru Loves Pets celebration was undoubtedly the 15 successful dog adoptions.

Each adoption represents more than just a number. It means a shelter dog has a loving family, a safe place to sleep, and a lifetime of new adventures ahead. For the families who opened their hearts and homes, it means welcoming a new best friend.

Throughout the event, visitors had the opportunity to meet adoptable dogs, connect with animal rescue advocates, and learn about the importance of pet adoption. From wagging tails to excited new pet parents, the joy of finding these dogs their forever homes reminded everyone why events like this matter.

A Community That Shows Up for Shelter Animals

Grand Subaru’s Pet Adoption Party was about more than adoptions. It was a celebration of the people and organizations dedicated to making life better for animals.

Local pet-related businesses and animal care professionals joined the festivities, helping connect pet owners with valuable services and resources. Their participation helped make the event an opportunity for families to learn, connect, and celebrate their shared love for pets.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to every volunteer, participating vendor, rescue advocate, and community member who helped make this year’s celebration possible.

Our Continued Partnership With A.R.F.

At the heart of our Subaru Loves Pets efforts is our ongoing partnership with A.R.F. (Animal Rescue Foundation), an organization committed to rescuing animals and helping them find loving homes.

Year after year, A.R.F.’s dedicated volunteers and foster families work tirelessly to give animals the care, compassion, and opportunities they deserve. This year’s 15 adoptions are another wonderful example of what can happen when local organizations and businesses work together toward a shared goal.

We are incredibly grateful for A.R.F.’s continued partnership and look forward to helping even more animals find their happily-ever-afters. Interested in adopting, fostering, volunteering, or supporting their mission? Visit https://www.arf-il.org/.

More Than a Decade of Subaru Loves Pets

This year’s celebration continues Grand Subaru’s long-standing commitment to animal welfare through the Subaru Loves Pets initiative, part of the Subaru Love Promise.

For more than a decade, Subaru and its participating retailers have worked alongside animal welfare organizations to support shelter pets, encourage adoption, and help animals in need.

Here at Grand Subaru, we’re proud to bring that commitment to life in our own community through our ongoing relationship with A.R.F. and our annual adoption celebrations. Every adoption, every volunteer hour, and every act of kindness helps build a brighter future for animals waiting for a home. And with 15 dogs adopted at this year’s event, we have even more reasons to celebrate.

Thank You for Helping Us Make a Difference!

To everyone who attended, adopted, volunteered, participated, or helped spread the word: THANK YOU!

Your support made this year’s celebration a success and helped 15 dogs begin exciting new chapters with their forever families.

At Grand Subaru, we believe that love is something you share, and there are few better ways to share it than by giving a deserving animal a second chance. We look forward to continuing our partnership with A.R.F. and celebrating even more happy tails in the years ahead.

Because every pet deserves a loving home, and every adoption changes a life.
