Together, We Can Bring Light to the Darkness of Cancer. 

At Grand Subaru, we believe that when a community comes together, incredible things can happen. This October, we’re proud to sponsor the 2026 Light The Night Walk, supporting Blood Cancer United, formerly known as The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

On Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, we invite our customers, employees, families, friends, and neighbors to join Team Grand Subaru. We’ll walk together in hope, remembrance, and solidarity with everyone affected by blood cancer.

Whether you are a survivor, supporting someone through treatment, or remembering someone close to your heart, this is a chance to remind our neighbors that they do not walk alone.

What Is Light The Night?

Light The Night brings survivors, families, caregivers, friends, and supporters together in solidarity. Illuminated lanterns carry a personal meaning: white honors survivors, red represents supporters, and gold remembers loved ones lost to cancer. The shared glow reminds participants that even in the darkest moments, no one has to face cancer alone.

For some, the walk celebrates a victory. For others, it honors someone deeply missed. For everyone, it offers a way to stand together and bring light to the darkness of cancer.

Every light tells a story. Every step makes a difference.

What to Expect at the 2026 Light The Night Walk

Light The Night is an evening of hope, remembrance, and community. As dusk falls, participants gather with glowing lanterns: white to recognize survivors, red to show support, and gold to honor those we have lost. Together, those lights symbolize the strength of a community standing beside people affected by blood cancer.

The event is an opportunity to connect with other families, share stories, and take part in a meaningful walk. There also will be opening remarks, music, family activities, 

Planning to attend? Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a jacket or layers for the October evening. Look for the Subie Van in the parking lot we'll have drinks and snacks before the walk.

Grand Subaru is inviting our entire community to join us. You do not need to work at the dealership or have a personal connection to blood cancer to make a difference. All you need is a willingness to support those who need us.

Supporting Our Community Through the Subaru Love Promise

Giving back is part of our commitment to the Subaru Love Promise. For ten years, Grand Subaru has supported patients and healthcare professionals at the Nancy W. Knowles Cancer Center through comforting blankets, patient care kits, thoughtful gifts, and other acts of care.
